33/1
Ran four times for William Haggas with his best run coming when second on heavy ground at Haydock (1m) in October 2018; 50/1 and well held on stable debut at Thirsk (1m) last month; plenty high enough in the weights for handicap debut.

Won with ridiculous ease over C&D (good to soft) in June; 12lb higher in a stronger race (Class 5); it's probably worth drawing a line through a modest effort on the AW at Newcastle latest (surface not riding at it's very best); respected.

Runner-up over C&D on his penultimate start; 2lb higher than when edging out Gold Fleece and Swansdown in a three-way dash to the line at Wolverhampton (1m4f) 28 days ago; ought to figure high on the radar at the very least.

Nine-race maiden with an ever increasing amount of placed form on the CV; travelled well for much of the race when beaten in a three-way photo over C&D (good to firm) on his penultimate start; chance, albeit others have more scope for improvement.

Progressive at this lowly level until turning in a below par performance at Redcar (1m2f) last week; 3lb higher than when beating Greengage by ½L at Ayr (1m2f, good to firm); must prove himself on a rain-softened surface.

20:20 Ripon - 6 August 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Theatro won by half of the track when scoring in a Class 6 C&D handicap in June and can be simply forgiven a poor performance on an unsuitable Tapeta surface at Newcastle subsequently. He merits immense respect despite a 12lb rise in the weights. Meanwhile, Euro Implosion should run his usual solid race for Keith Dalgleish, but a preference is for the David Lanigan-trained GOLD ARCH. This versatile gelding returns to Ripon after a nominal 2lb rise for a gritty win on the AW at Wolverhampton and can continue to progress against rivals in his own age bracket.
