Ralph Beckett's gelding has shown promise in novice events and could be in a few pounds light here, and his ability to handle slower ground looks worth chancing. Dubai Acclaim is already proven on soft ground and not ruled out, while handicap newcomer Desert Lion is feared after a win last time. The exposed Madeleine Bond also has her best chance for some time.
