Beaten just 1¾L when seventh in a 1m handicap on good-to-firm ground here at the start of last month. Stayed on well that day and a return to this distance is in his favour.
Victorious over an extended 1m1f on the AW at Wolverhampton in January but held since including on turf the last twice. Probably best watched at present.
Held seventh in a 1m2f handicap at Chepstow (good-to-firm) last time out. Top jockey up and market support would be notable off a mark 12lb lower than for his latest success.
Put a disappointing effort behind him when finishing 2L fourth in a 1m2f event at Chester (good-to-firm) last month. Sole handicap success came off a 3lb higher mark.
Returning from a break when finishing third over this trip at Chepstow (good-to-soft) just under two months ago. Worth a check in the market having won over this C&D off a higher mark in the past.
Six race maiden finished a well beaten sixth of eight over 7f at Chepstow (good-to-firm) last month. Stamina to prove on first attempt at this distance.
Placed on all three starts for previous stable including when 3¾L third in a 7f claimer at Catterick (good-to-soft) recently. Stepping up in trip back in handicap company on debut for this yard.

Forecasts
Perfect Refuge (9/4), High Acclaim (11/4), Essenaitch (4/1), Il Sicario (15/2), Dawn Treader (15/2), Rakematiz (10/1), Top Beak (10/1), Sarasota (20/1)
IL SICARIO performed well when fourth last time out and having won off a higher mark in the past he can end a long losing streak in this handicap contest. The selection can get the better of High Acclaim who has a leading jockey in the saddle while third place can go to Sarasota who is upped in distance having changed stables since her most recent start.
