A cracking contest with all the entrants having a fair chance on the best of their form. The slight preference in a tight contest goes to GALE FORCE MAYA who won well over course and distance last time out and is probably open to further improvement. Kolossus has been running well in defeat on his latest starts and now the penny has dropped again he could be soon back to winning ways. Although coming back from a short absence, Nubough has every chance if picking up where he left off at for new connections while if Tenax is able to bounce back to the type of form he showed at Haydock three starts ago he would rate a danger to all of these.
