Fifth on 2016 debut at Chelmsford on only start for Simon Crisford. Sold cheaply and gelded prior to filling same spot at Ripon for new connections last month. Has plenty to find.

Made a most promising start at Nottingham in April before beating the useful Harrovian at Lingfield in June, when again impressing with his finishing burst. More to come, and hard to beat here.

100,000 gns half-brother to 1½m-1m7f winner Nature's Order and smart 1½m-1¾m winner Ghostwatch from an excellent family. Makes a belated debut, which tempers confidence, but needs respect given his useful pedigree.
From the family of St Leger winner Milan, but a cheap purchase, and just modest form when fourth of 13 to Sparkle In His Eye in a 1m maiden at Newcastle last time. Longer trip will suit, but will need handicaps before he really flourishes.

Half-brother to a 1½m winner, and improved a little on debut when fifth of 8 over 1m3f at Carlisle last time. Drop in trip here a negative, and needs this for a handicap mark.

Related to winners, but cost just 1,500 gns as a foal and the fact that he's only now making his debut is a concern. Only of interest if attracting notable support.

Half-brother to 1½m winner Millie May, and not beaten far on debut at Chester, but he went backwards from that when sixth of 7 to Mubtasimah in a 7f novice at Haydock last time. Stiff task here, for all the longer trip will help.

Better effort in 1¼m events when fourth of 7 to Dramatic Device at Leicester last time, although still looked very raw. Remains more of a handicap project, and so is best watched until moving into that sphere.

Best effort as a two-year-old when second of 8 to Red October in a 1m novice at Chelmsford on his final start. Gelded since, and remains open to progress, so shortlisted for yard in fine form.

By Sir Percy out of an unraced mare from an Argentinian family, and she makes little appeal given her trainer tends not to have his runners at concert pitch for debut.

Half-sister to useful 1m1½f-1½m winner Al Kout. Improved from low-key debut when 6½L fifth of 12 to Dubai Future in a 1¼m maiden at Windsor last time, and gives the impression she will be better suited by this galloping track. Not dismissed.

Nathaniel half-sister to useful 1m-1½m winner Temple Church, out of a half-sister to smart 1½m-2m winner Allegretto out of Doncaster Cup winner Alleluia. Belated debut for this filly who is bred to need time and distance, and market will guide.

Has finished runner-up in a pair of novice events at around this trip, matching debut form when second of 10 to Last Look at Chelmsford last time. Tried in a hood now, and has the form to go close.

With Simon Crisford hitting the target with regularity, there's every reason to expect Wise Ruler to be fully primed for his return, and he showed more than enough as a juvenile to take a big hand in the finish. he may have to play second fiddle to Lingfield winner FIRST IN LINE, however, and John Gosden's colt will take plenty of beating with runner-up Harrovian franking the form since. Jomrok looks best of the rest.
