Improved from debut to narrowly get up at Chepstow last time out but had the run of the race that day and the form would appear to be a long way below what will be required in this event.
Course winner on debut (5f) and while slightly disappointing at Beverley next time, he bounced back with a good second in Listed company at Sandown in what looked a hot race. Could improve for the step up in trip here.
Green on Chepstow debut but showed promise and produced a much more professional performance when making all at Windsor in novice company. Needs to step up on that form to play a part here but not without place claims if he can improve again.
Caught the eye on Newbury debut when fourth of 12 and bolted up at Windsor next time out when making all. Outran his odds when just 2L back in the Coventry Stakes behind some of these and yard's juvenile often improve throughout the campaign.
Recorded a good time when winning over C&D on debut and produced an smart third of 17 in the Coventry. Not at that level in the July Stakes and the second/third from that race didn't do much for the form here Tuesday but may yet have more to give.
Maiden winner at Dundalk on debut and runner-up in a pair of Listed races but needs to improve on his form from the July Stakes when fifth (Guildsman fourth) last time out. Yard's first string.
Winner on debut at Yarmouth (6f) and made some good progress late in the day in the Coventry Stakes when eighth of 17. Possibly didn't stay in the Superlative Stakes last time out and not ruled out with Dettori booked.
Bolted up in fine style at Ripon and did too much too soon behind Pinatubo in a conditions race at Epsom. Took a step forward from his effort in the Norfolk with a second at Newbury last time and still gives the impression there is more to come.
Improved from debut to win a Doncaster maiden in good style. Well bred sort who should improve again but needs significantly more against these rivals.
A short price for his Curragh maiden and while well beaten, he showed plenty more (yard's runners often improve markedly from debut) when runner-up at Fairyhouse last time. Second string on jockey bookings though and needs sizable improvement.
Won a Salisbury novice event on debut (runner-up finished third in the Albany subsequently) and only beaten 1L in the Windsor Castle. Looks certain to appreciate this extra furlong and he's not one to underestimate.
Won a four runner maiden at Newmarket on debut in a good time and progressed from that to finish a close second in the Coventry (beat all who raced on his side). That just about sets the standard on form here and yard have a good record in this.
Very easy winner of a five runner Ayr maiden on debut but in very deep on just his second start and it would be a surprise if he could find the requisite improvement.

Threat represents are yard who have enjoyed plenty of success in this race and the Footstepsinthesand colt brings the brings the best form to the table with several of these in behind him in the Coventry last time. However, slight preference is for SYMBOLIZE who looks sure to appreciate this step up in trip after a respectable run at Royal Ascot last time over the minimum trip. Dream Shot is another who could improve for the step up in trip while Guildsman and Golden Horde weren't far behind Threat at Royal Ascot.
