Seven-time AW winner, but 0-33 on turf. Placed over C&D in May, and again ran well when second of 9 to Someone Exciting at Catterick last time. Not ruled out.
Scrambled home in 6f Chelmsford handicap in May for previous handler Charlie Wallis and makes debut here for new connections. Last turf win came in 2014, but has run well off higher marks on this surface, so folly to ignore.
Won a division of this contest last year, and back to form when scoring at Catterick last time from Steelriver. On the same mark as last win with a 5lb penalty, so not hard to see her going close again.
Godolphin cast-off who is now a ten-race maiden, and left Ruth Carr after finishing fifth of 15 in a seller at Redcar (7f) in May. Has a bit to prove, but may be helped by a first-time tongue tie, and market useful.
Third in a fast-ground maiden at Thirsk (5f) in May, but no progress since, and opposable unless a hood has a marked positive effect. Probably wouldn't want much rain.
Solid efforts to be placed in 6f handicaps from this mark on her last two starts, and enters the reckoning, but well held on sole try on a soft surface, so another whose chance may be compromised by rain. Flashed her tail last time.
Has a couple of respectable efforts to his name this season, but form is on the slide generally speaking, and has blown his chance with slow starts of late. Possible the removal of cheekpieces may stop the rot.
Best effort this season when going down narrowly at Hamilton early this month, and while he's not matched that since, he's not been disgraced. Place claims if things drop right.
Poor form on balance last year, and while he outran unflattering odds on return at Beverley with a hood applied, he looked a hard ride in doing so (flashed tail under pressure), and makes limited appeal on balance.
Surprise that this veteran, who often flatters to deceive, has not been tried in headgear since joining current yard after 2014 campaign. Has fallen to a lowly mark, and retains ability, but remains to be seen whether cheekpieces can revive him.
Placed several times this year, most recently when 4L second to Monarch Maid at Thirsk last week. Probably flattered by leading in a race few got involved in there, however, and the form looks suspect.
Won at Thirsk last July, and fifth in a division of this race on his next start, but this veteran seems to be feeling his age increasingly, and he was soundly beaten after a break last time.
Still a maiden, but heavily punted and ran well when neck second of 13 to Your Pal Tal in a classified stakes at Musselburgh last time. Cheekpieces added now, and can have few excuses from his basement mark.
Only modest, but shaped better at Catterick on penultimate start and built on that when neck second of 12 to Mr Greenlight in a 6f handicap there last time. Handles easy ground, and ought to go well once more.
Returned from a long absence at Thirsk last month, and while she was entitled to need that run, she fared no better at Hamilton last time, and looks to have lost what modest ability she once had.
Had bits of form at a lowly level for Richard Whitaker last season, but essentially disappointing, and didn't show enough on debut for new yard at Musselburgh on her return to make her of particular interest here.
On the plus side, her best efforts for this yard have come here, but they have only seen her finish in non-challenging midfield positions, and her form elsewhere this season is dreadful.
Placed at Southwell in December of a much higher mark, but still beaten by 10L, and he's gone the wrong way since, with latest effort in selling company discouraging.
Showed bits and pieces for Tom Clover last year, but efforts for new yard suggest she is of no real merit any more. Probably flattered after dictating in a Leicester seller last time.
Has finished last on all four career starts, including off a basement mark on her handicap debut, and cheekpieces unlikely to transform her fortunes.

SOMEONE EXCITING races off the same mark as when winning a division of this last year, thanks to a penalty she picks up for beating Steelriver at Catterick last week. That pair are taken to dominate again, with Mightaswellsmile looking best of the rest on recent evidence, although War Ensign was backed as if defeat was out of the question last time, and may be worth another chance.
