Two-time Group winner and career best came when landing a Curragh Group 2 last summer. Bit below form this term but feasibly handicapped as a result.

Has become tricky to win with having not won since his second run back in 2017. Running okay in defeat this term but vulnerable in a race of this depth.

A specialist at this track having won three races here and ran a big race in defeat at the Royal meeting. The more rain the better as far as his chance is concerned and while he hasn't won from a mark this high, sure to be competitive again.

Won this race last year and while only 2lb above that winning handicap mark on return here, his recent efforts have been devoid of encouragement. Others preferred.

Talented hold up performer who needs everything to drop right for him. Not beaten far at the Curragh last time out but this trip will probably stretch him.

Runner-up in this race last year and returns 3lb lower in the weights here having been well beaten in a quartet of Listed events this term. Drop back in trip should suit at least.

Won at Meydan on the opening night of the carnival but hasn't won since and tailed off last time on debut for his new yard; easy to oppose at present.

Won six times last year and got himself back in the winners' enclosure in what looked a decent race at Newmarket last time out, getting a fine ride from this jockey. Only has to carry a 3lb penalty for that and stiff nature of this track will suit.

Made it four wins from 21 starts at Newbury last time out, bouncing back to form in good style. Has run some nice races over C&D and only has a 3lb penalty to carry for his win; shouldn't be far away.

Has won twice already this season and while he's been running well in defeat in recent starts, particularly at Hamilton last time out, this is much tougher. Stiff 7f perhaps not ideal and others preferred.

Ended a long losing run at York last time out. Not always the most straightforward or consistent and slightly concerning we haven't seen him since that success. Still feasibly handicapped if at his best.

Age: 4|  Weight: 9-2| J: Jim Crowley| T: R Varian| OR:  98| D

Made it three wins from six starts at Newcastle last time out and while a 7lb rise looks a little on the harsh side for that, he's respected given his less exposed profile than most.

Won twice on AW this winter but yet to win on turf. Looks vulnerable from this sort of handicap mark and probably would want rattling quick ground to have any chance.

Course winner here towards the end of last season and ran with credit in a 26-runner handicap here on return. Tailed off at Ayr last time though when eased down and has questions to answer now. Wears first-time tongue-tie.

Has a good strike-rate for a handicapper, making it eight wins from 24 starts at Doncaster last time out. This is a tougher race but only has a 3lb rise to cope with and he's got each-way claims here.

Winner on debut for this yard at Thirsk and running well in defeat subsequently, particularly when third behind Vale Of Kent at Newmarket earlier this month. Likely one of these will come his way at some point; probably wants the rain to stay away.

In fine form last year, winning four of his races but hasn't found his best form for his new yard and probably wants softer ground and a step back up in trip to be seen at his best again.

C&D winner last year and a talented hold up performer who has become dangerously well-handicapped. Produced a good sixth behind Vale Of Kent last time out and looks sure to go well again with a decent pace almost guaranteed.

Gained a Listed win at Lingfield in March (AW), a first success since his maiden win and he ran a huge race when third of 28 in the Britannia last time out. Should get another strong pace to aim at here and interesting contender down in trip.

Won at Goodwood earlier in the campaign and only narrowly denied at Haydock last time out when headed at the post. Still on a workable handicap mark but probably wouldn't want too much rain.

Age: 4|  Weight: 8-5| J: Raul Da Silva| T: R M Beckett| OR:  87| D

Has found some form of late, winning three of his last six starts. Failed to settle at Newcastle last time out but may still have more improvement to come and a stronger pace should help.

RIPP ORF is fitted with first-time headgear and looks sure to be suited by the likely strong gallop here. The previous course and distance winner has dropped to a workable handicap mark and has been running well in defeat of late. Zap is another well-handicapped sort who should bounce back at some stage. Land Of Legends is less exposed than more while Raising Sand will be hard to keep out of the first three given his course record.
