Son of Lethal Force who cost 4,500gns as a foal. Half-brother to four winners, and although he hails from a yard who aren't readily associated with winning debutantes, he is still an interesting contender.

Promising debut run when finishing fifth, but was nine-and-a-half lengths behind Laikaparty when the pair met on debut at Lingfield (6f; good to firm) that day. Plenty of work to do to reverse the form of that contest, but could snatch a place.

Son of Due Dilligence who made a highly encouraging start to life when fifth on debut on the Rowley Mile course over this trip. Not seen for 71 days since, but that was a fair race and he should be bang there if running to a similar level.

Intrinsic colt. Made 20,000gns as a foal. Half-brother to four winners. Dam is a half-sister to Listed winner at 5f in UAE. Makes appeal on paper and could be good enough to play a part on debut.

Beaten a nose when finishing runner-up on debut at Lingfield (6f; good to firm) when well-fancied (3-1f). That was a highly encouraging effort, and he should go very close to winning this after showing he possesses a good level of ability.

Ran to a similar level when well-beaten in fifth at Leicester (7f; good to soft) on first try at new trip. Drops back to 6f now, but plenty of improvement needed on what he has shown to date.

Didn't show any improvement when stepped up in trip on what was his second career start at Ascot (7f; good to firm) recently. Looks more of a handicap project and so is best watched once more in this grade.

Posted a decent effort first time out when sixth at Newbury (6f; good to firm) on debut. Not beaten very far and made good progress late on under hands and heels. Major player if showing the expected level of improvement.

Toronado filly. Half-sister to two winners including the fairly talented Spoof. Wouldn't be a major surprise if she were to make a winning debut for connections, and the betting should be monitored.

A fairly interesting contest, in which a few have chances. We'll start with Angel Grey who made a promising start to life when making eye-catching headway late on to finish sixth in a Newbury maiden. The Hugo Palmer-trained Hamish Macbeth also ran to a similar level when fifth on debut over at the Rowley Mile course and is of strong interest despite not being seen since May. However, the selection is LAIKAPARTY who posted the most encouraging debut effort of all in the line-up when coming off second-best in a photo-finish at Lingfield when sent off favourite. A reproduction of that effort would entitle him to go close.
  1. Laikaparty
  2. Hamish Macbeth
  3. Angel Grey
