Has been in great form recently as he goes into this race on a hat-trick following successes at this distance at Epsom and Beverley, respectively and had won at Newmarket earlier in the campaign too. In current order he merits respect.

Hard to gauge form of incredible match race latest where he was nosed out in a terrific tussle on the July course but highly notable that he's now 8lb lower than his January AW win so has to be considered with Moore aboard.

Handicap debutant is a winner of a 5½f Bath novice in comprehensive fashion and was second in a Sandown Listed race two starts back. Opening handicap mark high enough but no denying he has a touch of class.

Hit and miss in four starts last season, winning at Sandown (5f) but failing to build on that twice subsequently. Failed to build on a good AW return when running poorly at York and Newmarket last twice and others preferred.

Winner of a two-year-old maiden on debut at Notts but opposite to his name he hasn't stepped forward since. Third on reappearance promising but bombed out in last when most recently seen at Goodwood and has questions marks now.

Three-time winner in France gained first success for this yard at Ayr (5f) two starts back before highly credible Ripon second over 6f latest upped 5lb. Gets another raise here but more to come and stiff 5f may prove ideal.

Returned from break (and after wind surgery) to land similar 5f Sandown handicap at the start of the month before finishing fourth at Windsor latest off a 4lb higher mark. Others appeal as better treated now.

Form tailed off towards the end of last season but returned with a good fifth of 19 at York (5f, good to firm) in May. However seems to run his best races fresh and having finished 15th of 19 here latest he is easy to oppose.

Thriving on racing at present and ran three times in six days earlier in the month where he won and was second at Ayr before and excellent C&D third of 19. Same mark as the latest of them here and must be respected.

Won three times last year and after three less than compelling 2019 runs he bounced back to win at Newmarket earlier this month over this trip. 6lb rise puts him at a career-high mark so may now be vulnerable in a big field.

Bid for a five-timer fell flat as he weakened into last of five having led at Pontefract last time out. Does like to dominate but handicapper may have finally caught up and making all here would be a fine effort.

Gained second win of the campaign and fourth overall at Newmarket three starts ago over 5f. Third twice since suggesting handicap just about right but she has generally been progressive.

Up 2lb today having won at Windsor latest over 5f which was a sixth career success and second of the season. Tougher race here but 2lb rise quite fair so could still be capable of a bold bid.

Took advantage of being 2lb well in under a penalty latest to score at Carlisle five days after winning at Beverley. Handicapper takes a dim view of such efforts and now ups him 9lb so hat-trick bid may fall short.

16:45 Ascot - 26 July 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A really hotly contested race this with almost all of them appealing to some degree but the vote goes to former French trained ARECIBO who is still quite unexposed on these shores and having won well over the distance at Ayr earlier in the campaign he appeals as an ideal sort for a strongly run 5f with waiting King Jamie Spencer aboard. C&D third of 19 latest in his third run in a week Harome has to be seriously considered as does Encore D'or who is well treated now on his best form.
