Has won four from nine in handicaps, most recently at Goodwood (1m) in June. Ran even better when second at Doncaster last time over this trip, and while raised again in the weights, he should be competitive.
Plenty of promise in qualifying, and took form up another notch when nose second of 8 to Ragnar on handicap debut at Sandown last month. Excuses (badly hampered and eased) here last time, and may yet progress further.
Improved on earlier efforts when making virtually all in a 1m1½f novice at Wolverhampton last time. Will progress again, although assessor has taken no chances with her opening mark.
Proving consistent, and has made the frame on both handicap starts at up to 1¼m. All his turf form has come on ground softer than good, however, so may need rain to be seen to best effect.
Form of her Kempton novice win in March perhaps not as strong as it looked, and she was soundly beaten in the Fred Darling here next time. Absence since suggests all wasn't right, and she remains unexposed, so needs a market check.
Forecasts
Just The Man (15/8), Incredulous (5/2), Rhythmic Intent (7/2), Sophosc (6/1), Madame Tantzy (10/1)
SOPHOSC is strictly the one to beat on form, and gets the vote given he isn't reliant on others to set things up for him. Rhythmic Intent is much better than he could show here last time, and is feared most, ahead of Madame Tantzy and Incredulous.
