Only won once in six starts but that only tells half the tail as he's since been placed twice at Listed level and in Group Three and Two company. Seemed to stay 1m6f in only previous try and looks sure to make a bold bid here.
Twice Listed placed and third in a Newmarket July course Group Three latest although beaten over 7L further shows his capabilities at this sort of level. Place again the most likely result.
1m3f Killarney handicap winner last time out but even with that she arrives as the second lowest rated in the field and looks very much the Ballydoyle third string.
Beautifully bred filly won over 1m, finished fifth over 1m6f then dropped back to 1m with a career-best Listed third. Capable of again making the frame here although South Sea Pearl looks stable pick.
800,000gns daughter of Galileo was a 9L winner of a Bellewstown maiden before finishing ahead of Simply Beautiful latest when fourth in a C&D Group Three and she was quite unlucky in running too. Sure to go close here with a clear run.
Forecasts
South Sea Pearl (11/8), Simply Beautiful (3/1), Nate The Great (7/2), Masaff (6/1), Flowering Peach (12/1), Chesapeake Shores (33/1)
Although quite late to come to hand SOUTH SEA PEARL has really bloomed of late with a comprehensive maiden and eye-catching unlucky fourth at Group Three level and the latter effort is enough to recommend her here ahead of Masaff who probably just about has the best form on offer but isn't progressing as the selection is. English raider Nate The Great isn't ruled out either.
