Four-race maiden who has hit the frame on three occasions. Running well in defeat this term including finishing third of 16 behind Sunday's Redcar winner on the Flat over 1m1f, Effernock Fizz. Leading player.

Still out of luck in six starts over hurdles. Third of 11 at Perth earlier this month and expected to go well for trainer who has a 33% strike rate with his maiden hurdlers at this meeting in the last four years.
Gelding by Arcadio out of a Flemensfirth mare. Dam, 11-race maiden over hurdles. Possibly best watched on belated racecourse debut for Co Galway yard without a winner over the jumps in five years.

Milan gelding failed to finish in three point-to-point starts before finishing 11th of 15 beaten 50L when never in contention on hurdling debut in a Killarney 2m4f contest on Thursday. Remains easy to oppose.

Court Cave gelding who was never a factor when making his hurdling debut in a Cork 2m maiden earlier this month. Hard to dismiss given the form of the yard but needs to jump with more fluency.
Bought for £75,000 after winning a Loughrea point-to-point in August. Three maiden hurdle starts did not go to plan with the Shantou gelding finishing well down the field on each start. Not one to place a great deal of faith in.

12/1
Yeats gelding who raced towards rear for most of the way on debut in a Cork 2m maiden hurdle before finishing a moderate seventh of 21. Can be expected to improve in this heat representing inform yard.
Shirocco gelding out of a Saddlers Hall mare. Inexpensive €3,700 as a three-year-old. Well held and never nearer in a couple of career bumper starts to date including a heavy defeat at Downpatrick earlier this month. Best watched on hurdling debut.

Failed to build on a promising maiden hurdle debut performance at Sligo in April when tailing off over a similar trip at this venue when last seen in May. Not a forlorn hope back in maiden company, but others still more convincing.

Improved on a below-par hurdling debut at Tipperary in May when finishing sixth of 10 beaten 8L in a Sligo contest over 2m earlier this month. Further improvement on the cards but others look to hold stronger claims.

Elusive Pimpernel gelding out of an Authorized mare. Sent off at a big price on hurdling debut at Sligo in April before running accordingly and unlikely to be making a significant impact in this contest.

2/1
Five-race maiden who has posted a couple of career highs within the last month finishing in the runner-up position at Kilbeggan and Sligo when going down by ½L over 2m on good ground. Has more to offer and very much respected in this contest.

Age: 4|  Weight: 11-1| J: P J Cawley(7)| T: D Hogan| OR:  92
20/1
Six-race maiden hurdler who has been mixing Flat and jumps since May. Well held on latest start over timber in a Cork 2m handicap hurdle earlier this month. Could be of more interest when handicapping.
14

100/1
A couple of dismal bumper runs in October last year have been followed by two equally uninspiring efforts in maiden hurdles since May, well held on both occasions. Profile suggests the mare is worth taking on again.

0-13 on the Flat. Hoping to make debut over hurdles, but would be required to step up by a long way on all she has shown so far on the Flat if she was to make a successful transition to this sphere.

Difficult to get away from the clear and obvious chance for the Tony Martin-trained NIBIRU in the opener. The Casamento gelding can land the first at the expense of the improving gelding Tomeric for Emmet McNamara and the Gordon Elliott-trained Cats For Cash who ran well in defeat on a recent excursion to Perth when finishing third of 11 over a longer trip. The Gavin Cromwell pair Flooring Porter and Rockford Cave both deserve further consideration.
  1. Nibiru
