Gowran winner in May but shade disappointing last twice after initially coping well with handicap rise. Must bounce back to his very best to compete with his welter burden.

Multiple course winner who is currently hurtling back down to his last winning mark following a number of dismal efforts over 6f/7f this term. Not in the form required to play a part.

20/1 winner at Fairyhouse on return but only beat one home here latest. Never been consistent and more likely to miss than hit.

Won three times last year including over C&D and latest close third at Naas his best effort of 2019 hinting at a revival in fortunes. Well handicapped if returning to 2018 peak and one for the shortlist here.

Somewhat hit and miss since his maiden win but was very much a hit when fourth of 15 at Navan over 5f last week after a short break. If he can build on that he has very real claims here and is one for the shortlist.

Ultra-consistent mare ran yet another excellent race when second of 15 at Navan over 5f latest. Won over C&D back in June too so there are few knocks one can find in her form and she looks the safest bet here.

Naas maiden winner last season but never better than seventh in her six starts this year suggesting that her handicap is still too high to be competitive here.

Lightly raced colt from a top yard making handicap debut so should be one of interest but really his form is pretty uninspiring overall.

Won an ordinary contest at Sligo over 6f but that remains his only success to date. Form in handicaps suggests current mark plenty and others make greater appeal.

Well behind a couple of these when 17th of 24 over C&D latest and that followed another uninspiring effort. Best form would be capable but while since we've seen that now.

Two good thirds to start her three-year-old season before below par latest on Derby weekend here. Could well bounce back and jockey booking is certainly rated a positive.

2017 course winner (6f) but lightly raced over the last two years and below par in three 2019 races so now makes little appeal.

Dundalk maiden winner in final start last season has ran to similar level twice this term in midfield. Gets 3lb back but this more competitive so midfield probably most likely outcome again.

Loves these big field handicaps and indeed won twice this season here and at Naas. 5lb rise for win last time out again raises the stakes but this mare is well capable of overcoming it and making another bold bid.

Close to two years now since this veteran last won. Certainly of some appeal given just how far he has tumbled in the weights but would have liked to see a little more than we did on return.

Ran back-to-back good races with her latest fifth behind Little Clarinet who was second a more than respectable effort especially now 1lb better off. Each-way potential again.

Arrives in good form having won at Sligo before another excellent effort latest when third of 22 at Naas. Handicap mark asks plenty at present but should still give a solid account and has each-way potential here.

Four-time winner but not really fired this season and behind plenty of these last time out. More appealing cases elsewhere.

Uber-consistent mare LITTLE CLARINET hasn't run a bad race since winning here over C&D in June and looks sure to make another bold bid in what is obviously a hugely competitive contest. Another mare who relishes this sort of contest is Baby Power who beat the selection at Naas and she too has fairly obvious claims. Others worth considering include Noirvento, Shore Step and Offline.
