Hasn't won on the Flat since his 1m4f maiden win on debut. Tailed off over further on last month's stable debut and while down in grade, remains one to watch.
Won in May 2018 off 4lb lower and that was his first win since 2015 so doesn't jump out as being well handicapped. Form this year has been solid but hasn't suggested this step up in distance is what is required.
Won at Ripon this time last year off 13lb higher but has seemingly lost his way this campaign. Better suited by drop back in trip but hard to be confident in at present.
Three time winner last year and is now 4lb lower than the last of them. Racing to a consistent standard this year while finding some of the distances too far. Now down to an attractive mark and any significant rain would be a major plus.
Showed little in three runs in Germany but left that readily behind on stable debut when destroying a field on British and stable debut over this C&D. Due to go up 14lb so 8lb well in under 6lb penalty. Hard to beat.

Forecasts
King And Queen (1/5), Edgar Allan Poe (7/1), Carbon Dating (8/1), Remember Rocky (10/1), Granite City Doc (12/1), Trinity Star (14/1), Pammi (16/1), Ad Libitum (22/1), Star Ascending (33/1), Mercer's Troop (50/1)
He's going to be popular but it's hard to get away from the stable debut of KING AND QUEEN over this C&D. He surged clear before being eased down for an easy win and should be very well in under the penalty. Pammi can chase him home off the back of some reliable efforts and with the drop in trip a likely help. The rest have questions to answer and while the distance is a big concern, Trinity Star is at least in some sort of consistent form.
