5/2
Talented staying novice hurdler who has taken well to fences, winning over C&D in May then following up under a penalty at Wexford last time. This is his toughest test yet giving away weight all round but he shoud again go very well.

5/1
Promising novice hurdler back in 2017-18 but missed a year prior to wining chasing bow at Tipperary in May. Open to plenty of improvement and still unexposed. One of three runners here for champion trainer.

Pont Aven54
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-5| J: B Hayes| T: W P Mullins
10/1
Fair hurdler who created a good impression on winning chasing debut at Wexford in May, scoring by wide margin over 3m1f. This is a much tougher task but he is bred to be a good chaser and could be anything.
5
Horse silk
1/1
Landed Limerick Grade 3 novice hurdle in March and looked potentially useful chaser when winning on debut over fences at Kilbeggan last month, jumping soundly. Gets the mares allowance so could well be a threat to all.

Victoria Bay40
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: S W Flanagan| T: C Bowe| C
11/1
Scored here over 2m5f in beginners' chase in May, then chased home Dinons last time in receipt of 7lb. Now 5lb better off but winner had something up his sleeve so will have to raise her game to reverse the placings.

Forecasts

Robin De Carlow (1/1), Dinons (5/2), Brahma Bull (5/1), Pont Aven (10/1), Victoria Bay (11/1), Cloudybackwest (100/1)

20:50 Killarney - 15 July 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A terrific contest for the time of year. ROBIN DE CARLOW gets plenty of weight and really did impress when winning on her chaisng bow at Kilbeggan. This is a much deeper race but she can give a very good account of herself. Dinons is sure to make a bold effort to give away weight all round and is a classy sort. He is a huge threat, while Brahma Bull is open to any amount of imrpovement and this useful hurdler is very much respected, along with his unexposed stable companion Pont Aven. Victoria Bay will have to improve to gain her revenge on Dinons.
  1. Robin De Carlow
  2. Dinons
  3. Brahma Bull
