Dansil colt who was foaled on April 6. He is a half-brother to Jupiter Light who won over this distance, while his dam also prevailed over 7f. Interesting newcomer. One to watch on his opening start.

Has failed to impress on his two starts so far. Was last of 13 on his debut at Lingfield (6f) and then finished fifth of nine, beaten 9l, on the AW surface at the same track over 6f. Hard to make a case for.

Archipenko colt who cost 90,000 guineas as a yearling. His dam won up to 1m4f but also was successful over 1m as a two-year-old. Keep an eye out for any market confidence behind him before the race.

War Command colt who was purchased for €14,500 as a yearling. His dam was a maiden but half-sister to 1m winner Warming Trends. Other newcomers make more of an appeal in the race.

Dubawi colt who was foaled on February 19. His dam was successful on the AW over 1m1f as a two-year-old. Yard are in great form at the moment so he has to be respected on opening run.

Went very close to getting off the mark at the first attempt at Kempton (6f) on the AW where he was beaten by just a nose when going off as the 5/2 favourite. Ran green on debut but more can be expected this time. One to beat.

Finished second here over this C&D last time behind a smart colt in what was a big improvement on his sixth place finish of nine on his debut at Windsor (6f). Should be in the mix again.

New Approach colt who cost 140,000 guineas as a foal. His dam was a winner over 6f as a two-year-old, while she also won over 7f during her career. Wouldn't be a surprise if he went well on debut. One to watch.

Showed some promise on his debut at Leicester (5f) when fourth of seven. Did not improve on his second start at Haydock (6f) as he could only come home sixth of seven. Others make far more of an appeal.

17:50 Salisbury - 13 July 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

GREAT AMBASSADOR was very unlucky not to break his maiden at the first attempt at Kempton on the AW where he was only beaten by a nose, despite running green for large parts of the race. He should settle better this time, therefore, he can make up for that near miss on his second start. Hexagon has the experience of two runs under his belt now and looks more comfortable over this trip, while Zingaro Boy was not too far behind Great Ambassador on his debut and is likely to be chasing him down once again at the finish here.
  1. Great Ambassador
  2. Hexagon
  3. Zingaro Boy
