10/1
10-time winner but without a success in his last 16 starts. Dropped into a seller for the first time and top man on board, but best form is over 5-6f and may find one or two too good yet again.

Useful juvenile for Richard Hannon (rated 101) but lost his way for Brendan Powell last year. No signs of a recovery in two starts so far for current yard and looks one to treat with caution for the time being.

Landed Pontefract mile handicap last term off 6lb higher mark. Not disgraced over C&D last time and may not be far away if able to raise his game a touch in first-time visor.

Won Chelmsford mile AW handicap off 57 in October. Respectable efforts last three starts over mile and further, and not beyond the bounds of possibility that this drop back in trip may help the cause. Only win came at 7f.

Won three mile AW handicap for Gary Moore in winter 2017/18 but has really lost his way since. Makes debut for new yard and will have to stage quite a revival to figure.

First-time visor applied on this 18-race maiden who cut little ice on first start for current yard when a distant fourth of five at Windsor last time. Unceratin step back to 7f will help.

Last win came over extended 5f at Bath 13 months ago but has won over this trip on the AW. Precious little in the way of form to speak off in four starts this term but given a chance by the handicapper and decent apprentice claims further 3lb.

Showed temperament in preliminaries last time and duly ran poor race when made favourite. Previous form gives her a big chance and she should go close if in the mood.

Malaysian Bolehb,e/s12
Age: 9|  Weight: 8-10| J: Grace McEntee(7)| T: P S McEntee| OR:  45| D
33/1
Drops in class having struggled in better race at Newmarket last time. 11-time winner but has gone 31 starts without success and is now in the veteran stage. Gets plenty of weight all round but needs to find a bit of old form to figure.

Forecasts

Lippy Lady (9/4), Chikoko Trail (7/2), Edge (9/2), Vincenzo Coccotti (6/1), Satchville Flyer (10/1), Kafeel (12/1), De Bruyne Horse (12/1), Jeopardy John (20/1), Malaysian Boleh (33/1)

15:40 Lingfield - 10 July 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

There are big question marks over all these hence the grade they contest here, but if LIPPY LADY behaves herself she has a sound chance of finally getting off the mark. Edge has been in fair form of later and should be on the premises along with Chikoko Trail, on whom the first-time headgear may bring about improvement. Satchville Flyer is respected, and Vicenzo Coccotti is potentially well handicapped on the pick of his old form.
  1. Lippy Lady
  2. Chikoko Trail
  3. Edge
