Deep Impact filly out of a South African Group 1 winner ran well following an erratic start when third here on debut. Should appreciate this extra furlong and has potential.

Promising debut when finishing 3L fourth over 7f at Kempton in June last year and some improvement when fifth again over 7f here following a near year absence. Bred to appreciate this extra trip and a chance. Stable also runs Scheme and Shining Sea.
Showed some pace but weakened into last on debut at Lingfield over 7f last September. Absent since and huge improvement required to be competitive.

Daughter of Raven's Pass improved from debut but has finished a well held third in both starts over 7f so far. Up in distance and would need to improve for it to be involved.

Horse silk
8/1
Daughter of Shamardal; a sixth foal and a half-sister to three winners. Starts over a realistic distance but stable are quiet at present. Market may prove the best guide.

Daughter of Intello out of the 7f-1m Listed winner Fantasize. Ran green on debut and improved significantly when a narrow second at Thirsk. Will appreciate the step up in trip and a leading hope for the stable that won this last year.

100/1 and 66/1 in both races so far and couldn't take advantage of an easy lead last time. Big improvement required to be involved in this company and easy to overlook.

5/2
Daughter of Bated Breath who fetched €120,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to two Group race winners from 6f to 1m. Green and a promising debut when a staying on fourth at Haydock in April. Needed a stronger pace there so this trip is a plus.

Debut third over 7f at Newcastle would see her right in the mix but the race was run in a slow time and she was disappointing over the same C&D next time. May prove vulnerable again.

200/1
£4,500 daughter of US sire Kitten's Joy was sent off 50/1 and finished tailed off on last month's debut. Hard to make any sort of case for based on that.

Horse silk
33/1
Daughter of Sea The Stars out of a Group 3 winner; cost 100,000 gns as a yearling; a fourth foal and a half-sister to Listed winner Oh This Is Us. One of three from her stable but well bred so well worth a market check on debut.

Horse silk
150/1
Planteur filly who cost only €5,000 as a foal. 100/1 and always in rear when last of 13 on debut at Kempton in November. Remains best watched.

Horse silk
100/1
Daughter of Poet's Voice and a half-sister to three winners. Stable have only had one winners this season and their debutantes tend to need the run. Others look stronger newcomers on paper.

Forecasts

Incredulous (6/4), Orchidia (5/2), Abr Al Hudood (4/1), Corinthian Girl (15/2), Hermosura (8/1), Alma Linda (12/1), Scheme (22/1), Shining Sea (33/1), Compassionate (66/1), Voice Of Calm (100/1), Lady Muk (100/1), Tulipe Angelique (150/1), Sharqi (200/1)

16:30 Wolverhampton - 9 July 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Alma Linda is the pick of her stable's trio on jockey bookings and is likely to progress again over this distance, however her stablemate Shining Sea appeals on paper, so the market could prove informative. INCREDULOUS sets a strong standard and also looked as though she needed a stronger test of stamina when a narrow-runner up over a mile last time. The same can be said of Orchidia who also boasts some good form from her promising debut.
