EMIRAT DE CATANA is 9lb worse off at the weights for beating Angel's Envy less than a length over C&D last time but is still fancied to score again. Unexposed and open to further improvement he looked more resolute than his old rival who may have to settle for a place at best yet again and remains a maiden. General Allenby is a rare winner but his yard does so well here that he enters calculations, while it's a similar story with Duke's Girl. The in-form For Jim and Monsieur Bagot look bigger dangers.
