Won on handicap debut (over this trip) at Ascot last month and also ran well in a similar contest at the Derby Meeting at Epsom last time. Held on that occasion but runs from the same mark in a slightly weaker race. Has to be considered.
Consistent four-year-old but finds himself on his career highest mark as a result. Was a close second in a Class 3 latest and needs to better that effort now back on turf.
Ran his best race for a while when third of five here last time out; dropped 1lb since and respected from a reasonably attractive mark. Goes well on the predicted ground but has no secrets and possible others are still progressing.
In good heart with a win and a close second in competitive races in his last two starts; now 4lb higher and needs to be near his best to add to his tally on these terms though.
Made every yard to win a Class 4 handicaps at Lingfield last month but this is a lot tougher and has a 2lb higher mark to cope with; that wouldn't have been an issue earlier in his career but he's come up short in this grade lately.

Sextant (6/4), Big Kitten (15/8), Speed Company (9/2), Oasis Fantasy (15/2), Fire Fighting (12/1), Banditry (14/1)
The lightly raced and relatively unexposed SEXTANT has form which reads well in the context of this race and he has the scope to get the better of fellow four-year-old Big Kitten in what might boil down to match of the generations. Banditry is consistent and edges out Fire Fighting and Speed Company as the best of the old guard at this level.
