Won his debut in a maiden at Dundalk and finished a good second at Newbury next time despite meeting trouble in running. More progress when fourth of 17 in the Coventry last time out when finishing off well and just about sets the standard here.

American Pharoah colt, cost $750,000 as a yearling. Dam a Group 2 winner and half-sister to Group 1 winner Dutch Art. Stayed on well to win in good fashion at Naas (5f) on debut. Looks certain to appreciate the step up in trip here.

Won his maiden on debut but hasn't really kicked on from that, failing to beat a rival home at Naas before finishing fourth of seven at Leopardstown last time. Much more needed here and has the propensity to start slowly.

A winner on Doncaster debut at 5f, despite looking green in the early stages. That form hasn't been done too many favours since and yard form is a slight concern; others preferred.

Won well on debut at Naas and justified the step up to Listed class on his second start when winning over C&D. While he won well that day, the form hasn't really stacked up and he's opposable here.

16:40 Curragh - 29 June 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Aidan O'Brien has won two of the last four renewals of this contest and he would appear to hold the key to this year's renewal. MONARCH OF EGYPT won very well on debut and given his pedigree, and the way he finished off his race that day, he looks sure to relish this step up in trip. Fort Myers is the obvious danger after his Coventry fourth while Siskin should have more to give in his bid to maintain his unbeaten record.
  1. Monarch Of Egypt
  2. Fort Myers
  3. Siskin
