6/4
One of two runners in this contest for the yard. Improved some way upon decent debut effort when runner-up at Leopardstown (7f; good) last time. Now drops back down to 6f but is a leading player and should put experience to good use.

325,000gns yearling. By Dark Angel. Well related being a full-sister to the talented Sovereign Debt. Has to be feared on debut for powerful connections.

Deidra
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: L F Roche| T: M O'Callaghan
8/1
Dark Angel filly. Made E125,000 as a two-year-old. Has a future but not one to have complete faith in when yard isn't in such great form at present. Place claims.
One of two representatives in this race for Aidan O'Brien. American Pharoah filly. Half-sister to six winners. Stable's newcomers tend to improve for debut run but she should still play a part.

Ran very well in a couple of hot maidens prior to stepping up to 6f last time over C&D when more was to be expected. Holds the leading form in this race but needs to improve on most recent effort.

Showed no improvement for the switch to this yard when seventh of eight at the Curragh (5f; good to yielding) recently. Goes back up to 6f and impossible to recommend on what she has shown in two runs so far.

Excelebration filly. Half-sister to a couple of winners. Yard not among the winners at the moment and have a disappointing overall record of 0-12 with their two-year-old runners in 2019.

Sent off at 50-1 on debut at Fairyhouse (6f; good) and ran accordingly when sixth of nine. Looked very green in the early stages, but major improvement needed to feature in this contest.

E4,500 yearling. By Fast Company and is a half-sister to four winners from 6f-1m1f. Newcomer who could run into a place for yard who do well with two-year-olds.

Es Que Love filly. Made just E6,500 as a yearling. Yard do have winners on the flat but not usually in two-year-old maidens. Very hard to fancy on debut.

No Nay Never filly who cost 135,000gns as a yearling. Half-sister to a couple of winners. Yard can ready a newcomer and she is definitely one for the shortlist on debut.

Well-beaten sixth of seven on debut at Down Royal (5f; good to yielding) just four days ago. Mammoth task on her hands if she is to get involved in this race. Others make far greater appeal.

Free Eagle filly who is a half-sister to an 1m/1m2f AW Winner. Should have a future but a big ask for her to go close in a race as hot as this on debut.

Never featured when sixth of six on debut at Navan (5f; good to yielding). Would have to improve markedly upon that run to get involved in this more competitive affair. Best watched at present.

Declaration Of War filly who cost $115,000 as a yearling. Related to plenty of winners on dirt. Slight question mark against her making debut on turf but is still a player.

140,000gns foal. Siyouni filly. Has more of a middle distance pedigree, so of more interest when stepped up in trip. Dam is a half-sister to some very smart sorts including G1 winner Postponed and God Given.

Horse silk

Muhaarar filly. Cost 425,000gns as a yearling. Makes plenty of appeal on paper and should make presence felt on debut for top stable.

18:00 Naas - 26 June 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A hotly contested maiden which is bursting with exciting newcomers, such as the pick of the Ballydoyle pair Darkest who cost a fair bit as a yearling and is a full sister to the very talented Sovereign Debt. However, this could be a race where experience is invaluable and the thrice-raced maiden In The Present has plenty of it. She is likely to be bang there if able to put her most recent run behind her as she held very strong form prior to that. Preference is for A NEW DAWN though, who showed a decent chunk of improvement from her debut run when runner-up at Leopardstown and if able to cope with the drop back to 6f, should take all the beating.
