200,000gns Y; fifth foal; half-sister to three winners including Line Of Duty (1m-1m1f 2yo inc US Grade 1); dam 7f 2yo winner, also first past post 1,000 Guineas. Beautifully bred newcomer by Dubawi and highly respected.
Newcomer by Footstepsinthesand; third foal; dam Listed-placed 1m4f winner, half-sister to 1m6f/2m winner Penang Princess. Likely one for middle distances next year.
£190,000 yearling by Showcasing ran well when fourth on debut at Newmarket after a slow start although disappointed subsequently at Nottingham although there were excuses. Longer trip to help and merits respect here.
Newcomer by Bated Breath; second foal; dam unraced sister to 1m4f Group 3 winner/Irish Leger second Clowance. Likely best watched today.
By Dutch Art out of a middle-distance Fibresand winner and looked more a long-term prospect when eighth of nine on debut at Newmarket (Picture Frame fourth).
£12,000 Lethal Force filly showed some ability when fifth of 12 on debut at Kempton earlier this month and based on that an extra 1f here will only benefit. This is deeper but place claims depending on debutantes abilities.

Although a couple of these have shown ability the intrigue of some beautifully bred newcomers is too great to resist with STAR SPIRIT, the first foal out of connections French Oaks heroine Jacqueline Quest particularly appealing. Onassis is every bit as appealing on pedigree as a sister to three above-average winners. Picture Frame has had excuses for both of her defeats so far and with a clear run here she ought to go well.
