Good second on soft ground over 5f in a first time visor (blinkers return here) at Haydock earlier this month. Struggled at Ripon last week however and interesting to see how he fares on first start at this venue.
Victorious in a C&D handicap last month and finished a short-head second over the same trip at Goodwood (good-to-firm) a fortnight later. Disappointed last time out however but remains of interest on return to this venue.
Placed in a novice race over C&D in November last year. Returning from a break when 5L fourth over this trip at Lingfield (good-to-soft) on handicap debut earlier this month.
Placed over C&D last year and ran well in finishing a close fourth over 6f here just over a month ago. Cheekpieces tried for the first time dropping in distance following a heavy defeat over the same trip at Ripon (good) subsequently.
Victorious over C&D at the end of April and placed back here subsequently. Held on turf on two most recent starts however and should appreciate the return to this venue.
Ten race maiden has struggled in three starts since finishing fourth over 6f here on debut for this yard in March. Dropping in trip and probably best watched at present.
Career best effort in finishing third over this trip at Chelmsford just under a month ago. Top jockey up and cheekpieces worn for the first time that day are retained.
16 race maiden finished well beaten in a 6f handicap here on final start for previous yard in March. Others hold stronger claims.
Forecasts
Superseded (5/2), Scale Force (5/2), Jill Rose (6/1), Miss Enigma (13/2), Society Star (7/1), Griggy (10/1), Awarded (16/1), Not So Shy (40/1)
MISS ENIGMA has run well on both previous starts at this venue and she can double her career tally with a victory in this three-year-old only sprint handicap. The selection looks capable of getting the better of Superseded who is another to have run well here in the past while third place can go to Society Star who remains open to improvement on just her second handicap start.
