Dual winner last summer but has failed to replicate that form in four starts in 2019. Weakened to finish fourth in similar contest at Lingfield (6f, good to soft) on latest start and while on a workable mark, others offer more appeal.

Won off current mark at Chelmsford (7f, standard) November but found life tough on the AW after that success, including when last of eight in 6f Kempton handicap in Mark. Returns from break and better over longer trips. Plenty to prove.

Winner of five races from 23 starts who disappointed in Windsor handicap (6f, good to firm) in May. Seems to be out of sorts this season and cheekpieces are tried to reignite his spark.

Already had a productive year, winning twice for Paul D'Arcy before returning to John Butler to land a Newcastle handicap before respectable efforts at Ascot and Goodwood (6f, good to firm) recently. Major player back down in grade.

Returned to turf last time out with an excellent second-placed finish at Ascot (6f, good to soft) in May. Up 2lb for that effort but still remains unexposed on this surface and is one for the shortlist.

Won two nurseries as a juvenile but hasn't troubled the judge since. Moderate eighth of 14 at Newmarket's Rowley Mile (6f, good) when last seen and has subsequently changed yards since. Still 2lb above last winning mark and others preferred.

Lost his way after Chester win last season but has slowly returned to form in two starts this season. Kept on well when narrowly touched off at Haydock over 6f last time out. Has a strong chance but may fare better over a longer trip.

Only a Wolverhampton novice win (5f) to show from five starts but wasn't disgraced when fifth of 10 in 6f Ascot handicap in early May. Dropped 1lb by the handicapper for that effort but has a bit to prove to make an impact.

Long-standing performer who hasn't been able to hit the heights he has done previously. No show at Newmarket two starts ago was followed by a moderate fourth in 6f Haydock handicap, and is vulnerable to younger opponents.

Vastly improved three-year-old who made it a five-timer with a facile success at Yarmouth (6f, heavy) ten days ago. 5lb handicap rise is fair and is upped in grade but boasts obvious claims of continuing the winning run.

Racked up a four-timer during the winter but hasn't replicated that form on turf, including when a well-beaten fourth at Yarmouth (7f, soft) on her latest start. This is a marked step up in grade and tough to fancy from outside of the handicap.

Forecasts

Martineo (3/1), Ballyquin (4/1), Camachess (6/1), Revich (7/1), Suzi's Connoisseur (8/1), Motagally (10/1), Vegas Boy (10/1), Hart Stopper (14/1), Don Armado (16/1), Foreign Legion (20/1), Breaking Records (25/1)

The popular CAMACHESS has been a revelation in lesser company this season and has leading claims to be rewarded for her progression up the handicap ladder this season off a low weight. Martineo has also improved this season for two trainers without scoring on the turf, but is likely to land a handicap soon, while Ballyquin brings some strong form to the table with his Ascot second.
