Captain Dion made every yard to win at Pontefract last week when well backed and is likely to have a leading say here, at a course where he has won before, from 5lb higher. Notwithstanding his claims, there might be some value in SIMBA SAMBA who shaped with purpose on heavy going at Yarmouth after a wind operation and should be more at home under these conditions. Mezmaar and Kafoo are also on the shortlist.
