War Front colt, cost $600,000 as a foal. Showed nice improvement from promising Doncaster debut to win with ease (sent off 1/4f) at Wolverhampton (AW). Only likely to improve back up in trip for this stable and a leading hope.

Showed a modicum of ability over 6f here on sole start last year but below that when running poorly on reappearance over a mile at Redcar last month. Best watched in this company.

Yet to finish outside the first three in four start, without winning. Has shown steady improvement while continuing to pull too hard. Sets the standard but will be vulnerable to an improver until he learns to settle.

Has run to a similar standard in sole start over 6f last year and on last month's 1m1f reappearance. This could well be his ideal distance but huge improvement required.

Alhebayeb gelding cost £9,000 and sent off 66/1 when well held on recent Haydock debut. Didn't get the clearest of runs but still a lot more required to be competitive in this company.

Godolphin cast-off (£125,000 yearling who was sold unraced for £800 in January 2019); slowly away and green when second in a seller on debut and then well held in maiden company. Huge improvement needed.
Sent off 100/1 on similar ground over 6f at Redcar last October and was slowly away and tailed off. Stable not noted at all for juvenile winners and unlikely to be a factor.

Rock of Gibraltar gelding who wasn't cheap at 80,000 gns. Improved from Wetherby debut when not disgraced in similar conditions at Haydock. Plenty more needed but place possibilities with some progress.

Sent off 40/1 over 1m0.5f atWolverhampton (AW) on debut last month and struggled to make an impression. Dropped in trip but hard to make a case for.

Daughter of Havana Gold wore a hood (retained) on debut when showing a modicum of promise off a slow pace over this trip at Newcastle (AW) in April. Lots more needed but a likely improver.

Poet's Voice filly and a half-sister to connections multiple winner Fawaareq. Needed the run on debut and then ran in a hot Goodwood maiden when not seeing out 1m2f. Physically impressive and one who could improve significantly.

15:55 Thirsk - 18 June 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Current Option keeps on going close and sets the standard to aim at, however his failure to settle in races makes him vulnerable to a couple of Hamdan Al Maktoum-owned rivals. Dawaaween has really caught the eye physically and should be much better coming back in trip but preference is for ALKARAAMA, who is the type typically to improve with time for Sir Michale Stoute and won with plenty in hand last time.
