Unplaced in five starts so far but ran well last time at when beaten just a length in a bunch finish off this mark. Ground conditions present a new challenge in first-time visor.

Yet to reach a place in six attempts but has run respectably on both occasions at this track. Seemed not to see out the 1m6f at Redcar latest so drop back in trip looks right move off 1lb lower mark.

Jockey-trainer combination have overall 18% strike rate and this gelding ran well enough last time when close third over C&D. Very different ground now but has to be respected.

Showed little in two outings last term but hinted there could be better to come this year when promising 7th of 19 in Newbury maiden, stepping up to 1m2f. Further step up should help and has been handed tempting handicap mark of just 61.

Not much to crow about on first or third outings, but better in between when 6th of 15 in Windsor 1m2f novice auction stakes last month and starts handicapping career at the right end of the weights.

Plenty of stamina on dam's side but has shown little in four starts, the first two for David Elsworth. Dropped 3lb following moderate handicap bow at Windsor and tackles soft ground for first time.

Nicely bred and shaped encouragingly on only juvenile start but has finished last in her two outings this term and may not have trained on. Trainer a master with fillies but she needs to show much more than of late.

Dropped 14lb as a result of four poor efforts this term. Shaped nicely on soft ground in two starts last campaign though and now has ground to suit. May be one of the livelier outsiders.

Maxios filly who is half-sister to a German Group 2 winner. Placed in each of her last four starts at up to 1m2f, and step up in trip coupled with first try on soft ground may help her cause.

13-race maiden but placed four successive times prior to latest start at Bath where he appeared not to stay 1m6f. In with a shout dropped 1lb if coping with the soft conditions.

Made little impression and well beaten on handicap debut over C&D last time and hard to see him turning it around off just 3lb lower mark.

No show in three maidens but not too bad a first handicap effort over C&D when eight of 11 having been squeezed out at the start. Dropped 4lb but needs to show plenty of improvement to figure at the finish here.

Quite a few potential improvers stepping up in trip and tackling soft ground for the first time, but CAMBRIC looks as though she is going the right way and she is in the right hands. Yellow Label is a similar type and also has claims in this company, while Tadasana and Purbeck Hills are others worth considering in an open event. Top weight Robert Fitzroy wasn't beaten far at all last time and the first-time visor may help his cause.
