French-raider. Difficult to assess the overall strength of what he has achieved. Three-time winner from six starts but has come up short on both assignments in pattern class. Interesting jockey booking for trainer who is 1-5 with his runners in GB.

Had been on a five-race winning run prior to finishing tailed off in a well contested sprint handicap at York (5f; good to firm). Sent off 7-2F then and that effort should be forgiven given his consistent profile. C&D winner who must be feared.

Found pattern company too much to handle on final two starts of last year, but returned to the track with a commanding victory at Windsor (5f; good to firm). That was a career best and if able to improve enough from that he could take some stopping.

Has ability but Group 3/Listed company has proved beyond him on his last two starts. Beaten around 12-lengths last time when finishing ninth at Newbury (6f; good) in the Carnarvon Stakes. Likely to come up short on the basis of those two efforts.

Seasonal debut when finishing last of seven runners in the Commonwealth Cup Trial at Ascot (6f; good to firm) recently. Enjoyed a productive two-year-old campaign last season. Hard to have maximum faith in after uninspiring comeback effort.

C&D winner this season and returned to the track this year with a respectable head-second to Leodis Dream, again over C&D. Completely blew out last time at Newbury (6f; good) but return to this track/drop back in trip could see her bounce back.

Unable to translate winning AW form to turf as of yet. Progressed with each start this season, but this represents a marked rise in class and she would have to step up by some way on her latest third in a handicap at Wolverhampton (6f; standard).

Made it two wins off the bounce when scoring on turf debut at Redcar (5f; good to firm). Form of her Newcastle AW win two starts ago received a boost during the week when Inspired Thought won again. Big player on first attempt in this company.

The one who has the least questions to answer in this contest is Street Parade who got his three-year-old season off to the perfect start when turning over an odds-on favourite to win a competitive handicap in good style at Windsor. Wise Words won on turf debut recently and although she has to step up a fair bit on the bare form of that race, the form of her AW victory at Newcastle has received a couple of boosts from the runner-up Inspired Thought over the last few weeks. However, the well-drawn LEODIS DREAM ran too bad to be true when well-fancied at York last time and is definitely worth another chance back at a track he has won at in the past.
