Showed promise last year up to an extended 7f. Showed his well-being when running creditably at Lingfield on his reappearance, being unable to quicken in the closing stages. This extra furlong should suit but untried on the predicted surface.
Broke his duck third time of asking last season winning an auction race at Brighton over seven furlongs. Had shown he can handle a little cut when third on his debut at Epsom. Ground a lot heavier today but certainly has the form to get competitive.
Excellent form on his second run last season in a decent race at Newmarket (6f - soft). Not yet reached that level of performance but showed he liked this track when 2nd over this trip two weeks ago. Great chance of winning first race.
Improved over the winter to win a handicap at Newcastle over an extended seven furlongs on his seasonal reappearance and arguably ran better in defeat last time out over a mile. Leading contender if handling this surface.
Struggled when up in trip three starts ago and on his penultimate appearance. Improved when down to an extended mile at Leicester last time. Looking a bit exposed now and vulnerable to more progressive types. Should handle soft ground.
Showed he had wintered well when finishing 3rd in a fair Newmarket handicap on his reappearance over 1m2f. Drop in trip should be no problem but untested on likely soft surface.
Has been slightly disappointing since making a promising debut at this track last August. Hinted that he had trained on over the winter with a fair effort in a Haydock handicap on soft ground on his reappearance. Below par last time but respected.
Fairly consistent handicapper who was rewarded for some solid efforts by winning over an extended seven furlongs at Beverley on good-to-soft. Below par last time. Might have to settle for minor honours at best.
GREEN KODIAC can finally get off the mark having run some creditable races both on soft ground and at this track. Camber is in good heart at present and ran well in defeat last time out. Not sure to handle the surface but excellent chance if he does. Snow Storm has showed some ability on a softer surface and it would be no surprise to see him run a big race.
