80,000 guineas Zoffany colt whose dam was a winner at up to 1m3f. Attracted a little market support on Leicester 6f debut but ran very green and weakened 2f out. Sure to be better for the experience and market may again guide.

Ivawood colt who cost £32,000 as a yearling. Hasn't shown much in two starts so far and makes his first appearance since being gelded last month. Has yet to race on easy ground.

Sire, Mayson, revelled in soft ground. Interesting debut when missed break and well behind in Newmarket maiden before staying on nicely in closing stages having been tailed off. Can do better here and ground likely to suit.

65,000 euros yearling by Intello out of full-sister to Group 1 winner Keltos. Pedigree suggests he may well handle the expected testing ground so no surprise if he makes an impression here on debut.
Son of Dark Angel whose dam has already produced four individual winners across Europe. Yard has 10% overall strike rate with its juveniles so he may well imporve for this first racecourse appearance unless market suggests he's ready.

Son of No Nay Never whose sales price jumped from 25,000 to 65,000 euros as yearling so he must look the part. Yard quite capable of readying one first time out and he could be good enough to do the business on debut.

Forecasts

Upstate New York (2/1), Mensen Ernst (11/4), Big City (5/1), Maysong (6/1), Lexington Quest (9/1), Under Your Spell (9/1)

13:40 Nottingham - 13 June 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The three with previous experience haven't shown very much so far but may improve. Maysong could do best of that trio having finished well from a long way back on debut. But of the newcomers, UPSTATE NEW YORK is marginally preferred to Mensen Ernst having attracted a sales price nearly three times higher as a yearling than as a foal. He is bred to be decent. Mensen Ernst has a German pedigree that should stand him in good stead in the easy ground and he is very much respected.
