Not seen since finishing last in the Fillies Mile at Newmarket but had won both her previous starts in fine style so cannot be ruled out of the equation. The filly represents a stable in good form and she might well appreciate this drop in class.

Beaten in this grade last time out and has something to find on a literal reading of that C&D form; The form of her maiden win hasn't worked out either; probably best watched.

Won two of her four previous starts and appreciates a bit of give underfoot; was well held on her handicap debut last time out and comes here on a retrieval mission.

Won over 6f on her second start as a juvenile but is bred to be more effective at this sort of trip; finally added to her tally with a gutsy win at Ripon earlier this month but more now required.

Sets the standard on the official ratings; but was never a factor in the 1,000 Guineas; she'd previously been placed in a Group 1 in France. Had no excuses when beaten at this level over C&D last month, so chinks now starting to widen to cracks.

€400,000 yearling by Sea The Stars, excellent pedigree matched by a dominant display at Goodwood on debut. This is much tougher but the filly looks above average and shouldn't be underestimated on any level.

Forecasts

Terebellum (1/1), Antonia De Vega (4/1), Star Terms (9/2), Mannaal (7/1), Lastochka (14/1), Patchouli (40/1)

15:00 Newbury - 13 June 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

TEREBELLUM is an impeccably bred individual who was impressive on her debut and can do her bit to cement the renaissance of her jockey/trainer partnership. (John Gosden has sent out the winner of this race twice in the last ten years.) Antonia De Vega is better than she showed in the Fillies Mile when last seen in competitive action and she edges out Star Terms as the main danger to the selection successfully stepping up in grade.
  1. Terebellum
  2. Antonia De Vega
  3. Star Terms
