Landed Yarmouth 7f handicap in August last year off 3lb higher mark but ended last term with two poor runs and was last of eight and soon beaten over a mile on his first start back. May need more respite from handicapper.
Five-time winner on continent in his younger days and ran with credit in October 2017 off 93 in York mile handicap. Just three runs since and has been dropped 15lb after showing little sign of retaining his ability. Risky proposition.
Won three handicap at this trip in 2017 but drew a blank last year. Solid effort at Doncaster in March on return but was well beaten favourite at Wetherby last time. 2lb lower and chance if returning to Doncaster form.
8-33 on AW but has yet to score in nine attempts on turf although ran with credit here in April off 1lb higher mark. Overall profile suggests he'll find one or two too good though on this surface.
Won over C&D in October then bolted up over 6f on AW following start at Newcastle. Beaten only a head here on reappearance off this mark and ran well enough last time to suggest he's a player back at a track that suits.
All three turf wins have come at Doncaster and hasn't been since for more than nine months since finishing down the field here over a mile last September. 2lb lower and has gone well fresh in past but has a bit to prove.
Likes to force the pace and has a much better strike rate on AW than he has on turf. Good effort when third at Newmarket last time and should ensure there is no hanging around running off same mark.
On 23-race losing streak but hasn't run badly from falling mark in two starts this season. Pulled too hard latest for his own good and faded, but top jockey on board suggest better is hoped for this time around.
Took advantage of falling handicap mark when winning comfortably over a mile at Wolverhampton last time out. 6lb higher but same apprentice rider takes 7lb off so theoretically has ever chance of another bold display.
Won Redcar novice event last for Roger Varian. Sold in March 2019 and joined current yard. Three runs in handicaps to date and was beaten favourite latest after being hampered at Carlisle. Couldbe capable of better and is worth considering.
Runner-up in Newbury handicap last autumn for Roger Charlton off 79. Busy, without winning, throughout winter on AW for current handler and is well handicapped on pick of last etrm's turf form. Well worth a market check.
Failed by just a short-head on seasonal reappearance at Thirsk off 3lb lower mark but was well beaten favoruite at Carlisle last time. Easier track her may help.

Those toward the bottom half of the weights appear to have more to offer than those at the top, and SWIFT APPROVAL can run a big race with a top jockey booked on this occasion. Others with claims include front-runnning Call Out Loud, Esprit De Corp, Ragstone View and recent Wolverhampton winner Nezar, while both Star Shield and Young John cannot be ruled out of the equation in a tight heat.
