First time in a handicap for this one who was below form last time on ground quicker that she had encountered before. Still has potential though taking a step up in trip now and back on ground that should prove more suitable.
Gets another step up in trip after he was well held on his handicap debut at Salisbury last time (wore first-time cheekpieces; retained here). Slow away last time and doesn't make a particularly compelling case study on his second handicap start.
One of the more experienced runners in the field he looked hard work last time despite being ridden by the champion jockey plus having more severe headgear added. Rather went in snatches; should appreciate this test, but others appeal more.
Wore headgear for both his wins when with Hugo Palmer; looked as though he needed the outing on his first run for this yard at Beverley (1m2f). Hood now added to the usual blinkers in a bid to find some more progress; mark workable.
Mark due to rise by 2lb in the near future; shaped well on turf/handicap debut over 1m4f (already looks ready for a greater test of stamina). Slow away last time but showed a good attitude (only beaten a neck); looks a leading player here.
Seasonal return along with his handicap debut having had just three modest runs last year over much shorter trips. Looks the sort to improve for this sort of test and worth keeping a close eye on the market to provide significant clues.
Didn't look overtly suited by this trip when trying it at Beverley in May (second handicap start). Well below form tried again over 1m4f last time (wore first-time cheekpieces); would benefit from a return to around 1m2f.

The two handicap newcomers both come from stables that would know what it takes to get one ready to win first-time up in a handicap with Goshen having the sort of pedigree that suggests he should be suited by this trip. Tamachan is also encountering handicaps for the first time and although she was disappointing when last seen this more forgiving surface is likely to see her in a better light. MESSAGE looks to have been found a good opportunity though having finished a close second on his handicap debut the only slight worry being that he would probably prefer an even stiffer test so is likely to have plenty of use made out of him.
