Hasn't really progressed after showing plenty of early promise, and below form when fourth in a 6f maiden at Sligo last time. Bit to prove back in a handicap.

Runner-up at Dundalk in February, but has gone the wrong way, and failed to beat a rival in a 1m handicap at Cork in April. Gets blinkers and a tongue tie for the first time, but hard to make a case for him.

Won a 7f maiden at Dundalk in April, and better effort since when keeping-on sixth of 26 over 6f at the Curragh last month. Ready for a return to this trip on that evidence, and considered.

May have needed the run on debut for new yard at the Curragh last month, but failed to improve when down the field after a slow start at Listowel (7f) on Sunday, and a hood is reached for now. Others preferred.

Third at Dundalk in March the highlight of a patchy 2019 campaign to date, but he caught the eye staying on from a poor position at Killarney last time, and isn't without hope on that evidence.

Pedigree is an odd blend of speed and stamina, and while he shaped a little better on his final qualifying run at Naas in March, he failed to improve when sent handicapping last time, and looks poorly treated on balance.

Limited encouragement for Jim Bolger last year, including in a nursery, and makes limited appeal starting out for new yard, for all he remains in former handler's ownership.

Has shown promise in AW maidens, but yet to improve for switch to handicaps. Failed to stay an extended 1¼m at Down Royal last time, so may do better now dropping sharply in trip.

Signs of ability in four starts in maidens, but has run badly on both handicap starts either side of a winter break, and easy to oppose after latest flop at Fairyhouse.

Best effort in maidens when third over 7f at Dundalk in April, and not disgraced back in trip at the Curragh last time. Opening mark demands more, but she is unexposed at the trip, and should do better. Hooded for first time here.

Below form at Gowran early last month, but bounced back when a respectable 4¼L third of 18 to Guiding in a 7f handicap at Fairyhouse a week ago. On a fair mark if the fitting of a tongue tie can help her build on that.

Has looked no battler in the past, hanging her chance away at Dundalk in February, and running poorly on turf at Sligo last month. Has the ability to go well in a first-time hood, but not one to trust.

Probably needed the run on debut for new yard at Cork last month, and staying-on fifth of 14 at Sligo (6f) on handicap debut a step in the right direction. Needs to improve again to figure in this stronger contest.

Stepped up on previous poor form when third in a 5f handicap at Down Royal last time, although suspicion is she was flattered by passing tiring rivals in a well run race. Much more needed here.

Both MERYEMS WAY and Gatsby Cap are thriving, but the former may be slightly better suited by this trip, and is taken to gain a third win of the season at the expense of Monday's Gowran winner. Feather Step is a well-bred handicap debutante in excellent hands, and is one to note in the betting for signs of confidence, a comment which applies also to A Step Too Far.
  1. Meryems Way
  2. Gatsby Cap
  3. Feather Step
