Horse silk
4/11
Given an easy task on her GB debut having run had just one outing in France (finished runner-up) taking a small-field novice hurdle at Sedgefield over 4f further. Runner-up has already solidified that form; strong claims under a penalty.

Amlovi19
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: Benjamin Poste| T: A Wintle
100/1
Well held in bumpers and on her first two starts over hurdles; beaten 29L and 31L and yet to show much ability. Needs this run for a mark and her future almost certainly lies in low-grade handicaps.
3
Horse silk
Ena Baieh1198
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Aidan Coleman| T: H Fry
9/2
Scored on her second and final start in France taking a Grade 3 bumper in good style but has yet to really get her GB career to lift off. Very fresh and free on her hurdles debut last time (on the back of a wind op); improver if she learns to settle.
4

Mo Tottieb12
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: James Bowen| T: P & M Bowen
50/1
Given three very quick runs over hurdles but has only completed once and looks to have more temperament than ability. Wore blinkers for the first-time when last seen (beaten 55L), those are retained but she remains an unsafe proposition.
5
Horse silk
Torran
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: S Bowen| T: T Lacey
16/1
Newcomer from a yard that do well with this sort; half-sister to three winners including one (Isle Of Ewe) who won over hurdles. Dam was also a winner and a half-sister to smart hurdler Hora; makes some appeal, worth a glance in the market.
6
Horse silk
Valse Au Taillons42
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: Tom Cannon| T: J Farrelly| OR:  110
11/2
Definite promise in her GB debut run at Exeter in testing conditions where she had subsequent winners behind her. Failed to build on that run given a mark over hurdles (may not have been seen to best effect); place claims on earlier effort.
7
Horse silk
20/1
Hurdling debutante having shown some useful form on the Flat despite failing to win in that sphere (was with James Fanshawe). Cost 7,000 guineas after being last seen on the AW (1m2f) in January; type who could make an impression over hurdles.

Forecasts

Baiser Interdit (4/11), Ena Baie (9/2), Valse Au Taillons (11/2), Torran (16/1), Cuillin (20/1), Mo Tottie (50/1), Amlovi (100/1)

19:15 Ffos Las - 6 June 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Two potentially smart mares go head-to-head in this with both of them having shown useful in their native France and the likelihood is that they will both improve further. BAISER INTERDIT despite the penalty is the one that is preferred from that duo mainly because she settled far better when despite still showing signs of inexperience she won at Sedgefield. Ena Baie now hooded for the first-time still has something to prove in terms of her progression over hurdles (needs to settle better) but still offers the main threat. Of those remainder to have run Valse Au Taillons is the pick but she may be pushed for the minor place by the two newcomers Torran and Cuillin.
  1. Baiser Interdit
  2. Ena Baie
  3. Cuillin
