Godolphin cast off (cost £150,000; yearling) with a useful pedigree although he cost his supporters dear on his bumper debut at Southwell. Struggled from early on; now makes a quick switch to the Flat; can only be watched.
Left his juvenile debut well behind returning after an eight month break to get off the mark in a Windsor novice (1m) overcoming a pace bias. Major stable with a near 36% strike-rate here look to have found him an excellent opportunity to follow up.
Showed nothing but inexperience when making his debut in a 1m Nottingham novice event in April. Went right leaving the stalls, finishing well behind having also shown a tendency to hang; needs to leave that well behind.
Shown some fair form in handicaps (contested a better race than he needed to last time) but looks to have run into a real tartar back in novice grade. Unlikely to be able to trouble Davydenko but hard not to see him making the frame.
Very green in both his runs so far he has shown a little ability but looks the sort who needs to be brought along slowly. Tried over 1m2f last time he steps back in trip here; needs this run for a mark with handicaps the objective for the future.
Started off over 7f at Redcar looking badly in need of the experience but did shape as though there was some ability in her make up in the end. Looks to sort who could be capable of better but will need the comfort of handicaps to prosper.
Made her debut on the AW in April over this sort of trip but was badly in need of the experience. Would need to take a major step forward in order to take a hand in this and that's very unlikely; hard to make a persuasive case for her.

Very hard to get away from the fact that Sir Michael Stoute has a top class record with his runners at Thirsk and he looks to have found an ideal opportunity for DAVYDENKO to build on his Windsor win last time when he powered home over this trip to win going away and with something in hand. Irv looks the obvious danger but he’s still searching for his first win and unless the favourite flops that’s unlikely to come here. Most of the others will be striving for a handicap mark with Summer Bride and the newcomer Spiritual Command in competition for the minor place berth.
