Seasoned sprinter has some good form fresh so unlikely to to be lacking race fitness. Infrequent winner in recent winners with the last coming in July 2017 off 7lb higher. Returns 3lb lower from last season and can be involved.

Seemingly handles any conditions and just 1lb higher than last winning mark. Has run well in two strong handicaps at Newbury and York this season and stable remain in good form. Likely to be competitive back in grade.

Classy sort in France where he won six times including at Listed level. Nowhere near that level in two poor runs for this stable including following wind surgery on reappearance. Dropped 5lb but hard to make a case for at present.

Gained a first win since his juvenile days (Group 3 Cornwallis winner) when scoring at Musselburgh last month. Struggled to replicate that in two strong York handicaps since and may find this tough again off his current mark.

Two wins over 7f in the autumn when trained by Hugo Palmer on AW but showed improved form again when winning on his second start for this new yard at Ascot last month. Up 4lb and in grade but likely can improve further now.

Left two poor runs readily behind when returning to winning ways at Beverley. 5lb rise still leaves him feasibly weighted and handles any ground. however this is a big step back up in class and will require plenty more.

Indian Raj32

Won last two of just three starts in 2017 and returned from a 629-day absence to finish an encouraging Ascot fourth behind Burford Brown. He looked physically very well and ran on following a slow start. Up in grade but big improvement likely.

Forecasts

Burford Brown (7/2), Indian Raj (7/2), Abel Handy (7/2), Roman River (4/1), Spoof (9/2), East Street Revue (7/1), Danzeno (15/2), Secretinthepark (14/1), War Whisper (14/1), Cox Bazar (16/1)

16:30 Nottingham - 2 June 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Danzeno can be competitive on his season reappearance for a stable who has won this three times in the last six years but isn't one who gets his head in front on a regular basis. Spoof rates an obvious danger for a stable going so well and has to be respected down in grade. Roman River can continue to improve and ran really well on his latest start. Burford Brown likewise is going the right way but may have to find more to hold out the eye-catching INDIAN RAJ who ran remarkably well on his return from such a lengthy absence and looked physically the type who could make into a smart sprinter.
  1. Indian Raj
  2. Spoof
