Nathaniel colt who is a half-brother to the useful Dal Harraild. Got outpaced and ran green on debut but left that readily behind when making all up to this trip at Wolverhampton in November. Only likely to improve this year and a leading hope.

Daughter of Pivotal made a highly pleasing winning debut when running on strongly over 7f at Kempton (AW) in October. Only likely to improve this year up in trip for a leading stable in flying form. Rates a leading contender.

10/11
Dubawi colt; foal; dam 1m2f-2m2f winner (inc Cesarewitch), half-sister to 1m4f/1m5f Group 3 winner Systematic. Ran very green so did well to finish fourth in a good contest at Newmarket on last month's debut. Likely to be involved.
Gelded son of Holy Roman Emperor who cost 30,000 gns as a yearling and whose dam won over 1m in Germany. Finished fourth over this C&D on April debut after getting outpaced and looked likely to improve for the experience. Can be competitive.

Gelded son of Sir Percy finished a tailed-off sixth in both starts in April for Michael Appleby and has since changed hands for just 1,000 gns. Best watched on stable debut.

100/1
Gelded son of Pour Moi, sold cheaply for 1,000 gns as a foal. Unfancied and tailed off in both starts so far and hard to make any sort of case for. Future lies over much further or obstacles.

Son of Teofilo who is gelded ahead of this debut. Out of an unraced dam and bred to need a stiffer test of stamina in time. Worth a check in the market though for a stable among the winners.

33/1
Second foal from a 1m2f winning dam (Invincible Cara) who was a half-sister to the 7f/1m Group 3 winner Elusive Pimpernel. Extra distance should help following Leicester debut but plenty more required in this company.

From the family of owners' Irish Oaks runner-up Volume but has shown little in both starts at Newbury this year. Plenty more required and others preferred.

Bated Breath filly who is a half-sister to a couple of winners from 1m3f to 2m. Wore a hood both starts so far (retained) but well beaten and a large amount of progress required.

Meqdam was green on this year's debut and along with My Style arguably sets the standard, however two season debutantes are probably the ones to beat. Sir Michael Stoute and William Haggas are masters at improving horses with age and the latter's well bred DAL HORRISGLE looked an exciting prospect for this season. Likewise Stoute's unbeaten Loolwah rates one to follow and should go close on her reappearance.
  1. Dal Horrisgle
