Morozov gelding. Dam, lightly raced in bumpers, half-sister to useful hurdler (2m-2m4f winner) Very Optimistic amongst others. Good yard, may go well on first start.
Milan gelding out of a Northern Crystal mare. Cost €92,000 as a three-year-old. Well held on debut at Punchestown in February, should prove capable of better before long.
Gelding by Beat Hollow out of an Unfuwain mare. Cost £65,000 at the Cheltenham November sales following a 3L point-to-point win in October. Entitled to claims on stable debut wearing tongue-tie.
Showed promise in three runs last year, twice in bumpers and latterly in maiden hurdle at Wexford. Off since October, worth betting check returning in this sphere with yard in form.

Didn't match market expectations on debut at Roscommon (2m, good; 9-2) in October and only ran to a similar level 11 days ago when back in action at Wexford (2m4f, good; 6-1). Blinkers tried now and needs to improve.

Mr Dinos gelding from an unraced dam, failed to complete in string of maiden point-to-points, latest in December, and makes little appeal now debuting under rules with tongue-tie added.
Pulled up when tailed off two out in a 3m point-to-point in December before a couple of below-par bumper efforts at Ballinrobe in April and more recently at Roscommon.

Morozov gelding. Dam unraced. Maiden pointer, runner-up last time out in that sphere in April, has plenty room for improvement now tried under rules for the first time.

A half-brother to the once-mighty Samcro, he was unable to mount a serious challenge on his debut at Towcester back in 2017. Finished lame debut for champion trainer at Punchestown just over a year ago but faith kept not easy to overlook on return.
Mixed bag last year in four runs, including running out here in August when going well. Much more like it on recent reappearance at Wexford (2m4f, good; 7-1) when 13L runner-up. Must build on that now.

Salutino gelding out of a Blueprint mare. Dam 2m4f winner over the larger obstacles. Appears to be a future prospect making racecourse debut here.

The returning Think Positive commands respect, given he's well-related and trainer Willie Mullins has remained patient with him for over a year. However, there's also plenty to like about CLONDAW HOLLOW, a good winner of a point-to-point before changing hands for £65,000 at the Cheltenham Sales back in the autumn. He's bred for this sort of test and may have the speed to take the honours. Le Musigny is another newcomer of note while Whenurgoodurgood (second last time) and Cavalry Master are potentially good enough to have their say on evidence seen so far.
  1. Clondaw Hollow
  2. Think Positive
  3. Whenurgoodurgood
