Hooded for the first-time as this C&D winner drops back in grade having recorded a decent effort in a Chelmsford handicap last time. His form overall is a little in-and-out but at these weights he very much holds the whip hand.
Not scored since his days in France where he was a four-time winner with the last success coming back in 2016. Not disgraced on his latest Flat start (ran below form over hurdles after that) but has looked laboured; stiff task on these terms.
Looks the obvious danger if you take the official ratings as a guide having been kept very busy throughout this year already. Looked rather out of sorts when dropped to this grade last time on turf at Lingfield; stamina not guaranteed for this.
Modest maiden on the Flat (0-22); ran poorly when last seen on the level. Has been plying his trade over hurdles of late but showing very little in that sphere either (started 100-1 each time); hard to fashion a case.
C&D winner who has five AW wins to his name at around this trip. Ran better than his finishing position would suggest over 1m4f here last time (stamina stretched); still faces a tough enough task at the weights dropped in trip/grade.

The most uncompetitive race on the card with CALLING OUT presented with an easy task for all he’s not the most straightforward of individuals. All of the others look to have either a stiff task at the weights or will have their stamina called into question although Pike Corner Cross could outrun his odds and take the forecast position given his better than face value effort here last time. Scofflaw would be the other alternative in a race that makes little investment appeal.
