66/1
Pulled up on his last two starts and the amount of headgear worn indicates he may not be trustworthy.

7/1
Native Ruler gelding whose dam is from the family of Garrison Savannah. Won one of these at Garthorpe by 15L although the time was 12 seconds slower than an earlier division.
Beaten by wide margins in his three completed starts between the flags and doubtful he is good enough for this company.

Horse silk
25/1
Made all to win a minor 2m4f Edgcote point-to-point but tailed off on sole start since. Others have stronger claims.
5

Rivercourt Guyp119
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-10| J: Mr D Peters(5)| T: D Kemp
9/2
Had shown nothing before running out a 25L winner of a Garthorpe maiden. In good hands and worth checking in the market.
6
Horse silk
16/1
Has done little in point-to-points although there were some positives to take last time. Interesting jockey booking but he remains hard to recommend.

15/8
Court Cave half-brother to a Flat winner out of a dam with some smart types in the family. Beat a good field in a similar contest at Barbary when quickening in the style of a useful horse.
8
Horse silk
33/1
Tailed off in a couple of point-to-point Flat races. Produced a career best when beaten 10L in a maiden last time but she needs to make a big leap to be competitive at this level.
9
Horse silk
10/1
1-12 between the flags and finished alone on that occasion. Looks exposed as moderate and others are far more appealing.
Worth a try in one of these as she appears to lack the stamina for point-to-points and she likes to set a decent pace. Still looks a long shot in this company.

Mount Nellyh114
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-3| J: Fergus Gillard(7)| T: D Pipe
7/1
Close third in one of these at Barbury in a time much quicker than that recorded by Equus Gold on the same card. Beaten twice under rules since but may do better now if the hood gets her to settle better.
12
Horse silk
6/1
Kayf Tara mare who is sister to a bumper winner and whose dam won on the Flat. Failed to justify odds of 1/3 on debut when beaten by the only other finisher. Respected for a good yard with a top rider on board.

Petit Petard69
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-13| J: Bryan Carver(5)| T: Ben Clarke| D
14/1
Shock winner of one these at Milborne St Andrew in the slowest of the three divisions. Tailed off behind Equus Gold on previous start and probable that others are stronger.

Forecasts

Equus Gold (15/8), Rivercourt Guy (9/2), Feodora (6/1), Classic Ruler (7/1), Mount Nelly (7/1), Love Around (10/1), Petit Petard (14/1), The Garrison (16/1), Neil The Legend (25/1), Courtly Love (33/1), Morning Smiles (33/1), Daranova (50/1), Bullsempire (66/1)

20:50 Stratford - 31 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

EQUUS GOLD was impressive when landing a similar race at Barbury when displaying the speed evident in his Flat pedigree. Mount Nelly was third on the same card but has been hard to settle under rules, whilst Classic Ruler won a Garthorpe bumper by a wide margin although the time was slow. Feodora represents top connections and her pedigree suggests she may be better than her point-to-point debut indicates.
  1. Equus Gold
  2. Mount Nelly
  3. Classic Ruler
