Former 140-rated chaser scored under this rider at Leicester on return before unshipping at Bechers in the Foxhunters. Has scored between the flags since and one of two realistic chances for the yard in this contest.
Classy chaser in his prime who has done well since joining top point-to-point yard. Had won five in a row before coming up against the very useful Hazel Hill at Cheltenham and the one to beat here.
5-10 over fences when with Donald McCain and off the mark between the flags in modest company at Tabley. May prove better than that in due course, but even at his best he was rated behind Virak and Seefood.
Fairly useful handicapper who is unbeaten in three starts since joining top point-to-point yard. Made hard work of latest success but top lady amateur on board and looks set for a big run. Stable also run Seefood.
Tailed off in five of his six point-to-points this year and looks a long way out of his depth in this contest.

Virak and SEEFOOD are two former top-class chasers who have taken well to their new careers in point-to-points. The former had won five in a row prior to a blip at Cheltenham. Although he met a very good rival it was still disappointing he did not finish closer than was the case. The selection was impressive when scoring over this specialist trip at Leicester and arrives in good shape having landed a point-to-point last time. Stable companion Meldrum Lad has staged a revival in his new career but has a bit to find on form.
