Well beaten on both starts this season (declared a NR at Ayr on Tuesday); can be given a semblance of an EW chance if able to reproduce the form of his October 1m2f Doncaster second to Tralee Hills.

Handles these conditions and is very well weighted on his peak form from 2016/17. However, has left the care of Richard Guest since a most unproductive 2018; does he still retain the desire for battle?

17:20 Carlisle - 31 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

This race centres around those horses with very recent and productive form. Jackhammer hacked up in an apprentices' handicap at Ayr last week, but missed the break when sent off evens favourite back there on Tuesday (third). Although he carries additional weight, it can only be viewed as a positive that Paul Mulrennan takes over in the saddle. However, Iain Jardine's ISHEBAYORGREY is a winner waiting to happen. Unfortunate to find one stronger (outstayed) when heavily supported in the finale at Ayr on Tuesday, this race provides an ideal opportunity for swift compensation on the proviso that he handles the softer underfoot conditions.
  1. Ishebayorgrey
  2. Jackhammer
  3. Zealous
