Yard always respected with runners of his type and this Shamardal colt, who is a half-brother to Tajaanus and Motafaawit, who both won as juveniles for the same connections, has to merit a betting check. Well worth considering.
Respected on pedigree but yard has struggled in this type of race lately and it's more than likely the gelding will be sharper for the run. He's a half-brother to winners over further so looks more of a long term prospect.
Cost 850,000 gns as a yearling, his dam won over 6f-7f and is a sister to Group 1 winner Chachamaidee; yard is flying with its juveniles this season and this fellow, a son of the high-class Dubawi, looks an exciting prospect.
Races in the same ownership as Boccaccio but lacks the immediate appeal of that one's pedigree even though he cost 155,000 gns as a two-year-old. Well held in both previous starts and has already been an expensive favourite to follow (twice).
Cost 32,000 gns and is out of a 1m4f winner; respectable pedigree and represents a yard in good form. Worth a betting check.
John Gosden has never been noted as a trainer to push his youngsters too hard first time out and likely this son of Frankel will be brought along steadily from here. Worth noting in the betting where he stands with his stable mate Mass Media.
Out of a 1m winner on the AW who was also a good fourth in the 2015 Ribbledale when racing in the Godolphin colours; looks second best on breeding behind stable mate Herman Hesse.
Cost 10,000 gns as a two-year-old and is a half-brother to 7f-1m winner Choral Music; others make more appeal on paper. Jockey booking is a plus pint though.
Cost 65,000 gns as a yearling and is a brother to 7f winner Dabayah who won a Group 3 as a youngster. Yard also sends out Al Namir; the betting can can guide towards any preference.
Cost £15,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to 1m AW winner Progressive Dawn; his dam won over this trip though.
Finished last on debut at Nottingham last week and is very hard to recommend on that evidence.
Looks the more appealing option over Progressive Rating from the same stable but pedigree says a slightly longer trip will be suitable before long. Might just be better for the run. Only a significant market move would tempt the interest higher.

The well-bred BOCCACCHIO, an 850,000 gns son of the mighty Dubawi, stands out as the most interesting newcomer and represents a yard that has hit the ground running with its juveniles this year. The colt doesn't have any fancy entries but can certainly go on from here. Al Namir is a half-brother to a couple of precocious types and looks the pick of Richard Hannon's pair, while Herman Hesse makes more appeal than is stable mate Mass Media and can fly the flag for the John Gosden yard. Dramatic Sands also represents a yard in form and is worth noting with an eye on the future.
