Very well handicapped these days, and takes a drop in grade here after his last of eight over a mile here last time (not disgraced). Fully effective at this trip and holds solid chances in a modest affair.

5lb lower than his C&D second here last August, so no qualms about this mark, but some moderate efforts since then and he's clearly not the most consistent. Chance if you can forgive a fair bit, but is risky.

Seems to enjoy this surface, twice a winner here this calendar year (over 7f and a mile) and latest close fourth at Yarmouth only showed that he retains his form well. Will need a good pace to aim at, but chances if getting it.

Just the two wins in 17 starts, but on the plus side one of them came over C&D, so has that going for him. However, recent Ascot effort below par, and he looks held by a couple of these on form, so may need a bit more.

Only had the three starts at the age of five, so may have more to come, and has won a race (over 5f at Southwell) but hasn't been seen on a racecourse for a year and a half. Likely to need the outing and others preferred.

Has a course win to his name, and recent effort at Nottingham nor dreadful, but this trip is not his best (just one place from eight starts at it) and on that alone, is easy enough to pass over.

First start for new yard (formerly with Ivan Furtado) and is well enough handicapped if a change of scenery can turn her fortunes around. Effective at this trip, and watch the market is the advice.

Has refound some form lately, winner here two starts back when coming with a wet sail late to claim the prize, and the drop back to 6f on her latest start was against her. Every chance here under optimum conditions.

Very well handicapped these days but that's down to a series of moderate efforts, and he did no better for a wind operation at Southwell last time. Others readily preferred.

Generally pretty consistent and is twice a winner at this track, but the big sticking point is this trip, which he's never won (or even placed) at. Easy enough to look elsewhere for the winner on that alone.

Took advantage of his falling handicap mark to win here over 6f on latest start, so clearly in good heart, but another for whom this trip is a bit of a stab in the dark. Not guaranteed to appreciate the step up, so passed over here.

Makes handicap debut today, and caught the eye over C&D last time out, staying on for a never-nearer fifth. Expect more today, and with the first time blinkers going on, could easily take a big step forward.

Fully exposed and wins his share, but they have all come at sprint trips and it looks a bit late in the day to be trying him at 7f. Others readily preferred.

Course regular that wins his share, always gives it a good go from the front and has gone close on his last two starts. Will be a surprise if something doesn't improve past him, but he'll give it a good go.

Pearl Spectre will give this a whirl from the front but it'll be a surprise if the old boy can hang on. He may need a drop in class before getting back on the scoresheet. Javelin and the class-dropping Able Jack looka couple of the more solid options but a chance is taken that BAWAADER will take a step forward now he goes handicapping and gets a pair of blinkers. He's got a poor draw to cheat but other than that, makes plenty of appeal. Harbour Vision has chances too, and if there's money around for Murdanova, that needs heeding too.
