Horse silk
Big Egot23
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: Donagh Meyler| T: K Thornton| OR:  105
25/1
One from 15 Flats starts on turf. Pulled up on stable debut in a Fairyhouse novice hurdle over a similar trip on good ground in February and will have plenty to prove here.
2
Horse silk
Erratic Path14
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: D N Russell| T: G Elliott
5/2
Genuine sort on the Flat winning for trainer Ger Lyons. Changed hands for €85,000 but is yet to fire in three starts over hurdles for new connections. Worth a market check for a yard with a solid record with maiden hurdlers at this meeting.
3
Horse silk
Lunastar22
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-5| J: P Merrigan| T: P W Flynn
50/1
Lowly 45-rated handicapper on the Flat, without success in seven starts on turf. Kept busy of late and unlikely to be able to get involved at the business end of proceedings on hurdling introduction.
4
Horse silk
20/1
Poor form in a couple of point-to-point starts before finishing down the field in two bumper starts at Punchestown this month. Early signs don't warrant support on hurdling debut.
Three-race maiden hurdler who has started at odds of 100/1 on each of his starts over timber, running accordingly on each occasion. Still looking no nearer to breakthrough success.
6
Horse silk
Dedanann14
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: Liam Quinlan(7)| T: J P Ryan
9/1
Nothing of note in four below-par bumper starts and finished a well beaten sixth of nine in a Clonmel maiden hurdle in October. Overall record casts doubt on his ability to get competitive here.
Gelding by Jeremy out of a Toulon mare. Dam dual 2m5f/3m novice hurdle winner, also victorious 3m1f chaser. Closely related to multiple point-to-point/hunter chase winner Sizing Solution. Looks a long term prospect.
8
Horse silk
Javoski22
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: J M Moore| T: G P Cromwell
16/1
Gelding by Aizavoski out of a Great Palm mare. Fell on both recorded point-to-point starts and possibly best watched on debut for Champion hurdle winning yard, unless the market suggests otherwise.
9
Horse silk
4/5
Well held in three maiden hurdle starts for trainer Noel Meade. Ran a gallant race in defeat finishing fourth of 23 on stable debut following a break of 435 days last month. Needs to improve once a again to play a role here.
10
Horse silk
Oscaraldot307
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-4| J: Darragh O'Keeffe(7)| T: N Lee
66/1
Son of Oscar who was not sold as a yearling. Half brother to Lady Of Longstone. Well beaten and no impression on debut over C&D when last seen in July last year. Plenty to prove on return and making hurdling debut.
12
Horse silk
50/1
Daughter of Gold Well out of a Beneficial mare. Pushed along in rear at half way, never a danger to finish ninth of 13 beaten 54L on debut in a Kilbeggan maiden hurdle earlier this month. Others make more appeal.
13
Horse silk
66/1
Filly by Vinnie Roe out of a Sonus mare. Half-sister to decent sorts Claret Cloak and The Crafty Butcher. Well beaten in a couple maiden hurdle starts recently, looking a little overwhelmed on both occasions. Hard to fancy and plenty to prove.
14
Horse silk
100/1
21-race maiden on the Flat and has been well beaten at big prices in a couple of initial hurdling spins at Cork and Tipperary. Others look open to more improvement.
15
Horse silk
Hidden Marbleh1
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-11| J: P D Kennedy| T: N Lee
33/1
Daughter of Stowaway out of a Anshan mare. Dam raced once, without success in a 2m2f bumper for Willie Mullins. First-time hood on debut is never an encouraging sign.

17:45 Ballinrobe - 27 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The yard of Gordon Elliott are three from 14 with their maiden hurdlers at this meeting in the last four years and can add to that tally with ERRATIC PATH, the mount of Davy Russell. The Elusive Pimpernel gelding can improve on his maiden hurdle run at Roscommon earlier this month and hold off the attentions of Monstrosity who ran well in defeat in a competitive Fairyhouse contest last month. In a weak renewal Big Ego and Dedanann look the best of a pretty ordinary bunch.
