€3,500 yearling by Ivawood a half-sister to two winners including one at two. Others appeal more pedigree-wise so probably best watched.

60,000gns Oasis Dream filly made a promising enough start when third at Kempton last month and she should improve for an extra 2f. This race likely deeper than debut based on connections involved but experience an obvious bonus.

Horse silk
20/1
72,000gns yearling by prolific sire Camacho closely related to 7f-1m3f including 1m Group Three winner Djumama and half-sister to four more winners. Market can guide as to expectations here.

8/1
130,000gns yearling by ascending sire Siyouni the third foal out of a middle-distance maiden from a good family. May want further but yard well capable with two-year-olds so market support notable.

Holy Roman Emperor filly cost €19,000 as a yearling. Closely related to Listed winning two-year-old Washaar out of stoutly bred mare. Maybe one for further down the line.

Zmile
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: D Tudhope| T: M L W Bell
12/1
150.000gns yearling by leading US sire Medaglia D'Oro out of a 7f-1m4f winner. Trainer's debutantes generally need the run but yard had a five-timer earlier this week so clearly from an in-form stable.

Forecasts

Sacred Dance (10/11), Byzantia (3/1), Rhea (8/1), Perfect Rose (8/1), Zmile (12/1), Prestigious (20/1), Golden Lips (33/1), Roman's Empress (100/1), Laughter Lounge (100/1)

15:55 Haydock - 24 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Debutantes from top yards and by Derby winners SACRED DANCE and Byzantia make the most appeal with the former slightly more appealing as her sire is already proven as a top producer of high-class fillies. Byzantia and Golden Lips are the first two runners by four-time Group One winner Golden Horn. Perfect Rose is the only one of these to run so far and showed enough there to expect a decent showing once again.
  1. Sacred Dance
  2. Byzantia
  3. Perfect Rose
