Dandy Man colt, cost €42,000 as a yearling and bred for speed. Caught wider than ideal on second start at Pontefract, which usually spells trouble. Should be more to come before long.

145,000 gns yearling Frankel colt. Will surely stay further than this in time but respected yard will have him ready and any market confidence would demand attention for well-regarded sort.

Forecasts

Fred (11/4), Mellad (3/1), Lord Of The Lodge (4/1), Danny Ocean (4/1), Clay Regazzoni (9/1), Streaker (9/1), Puerto Sol (50/1), Star's Daughter (50/1), Capelli Rossi (66/1)

14:00 Ayr - 22 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Those that have run don't set an exacting standard, with Danny Ocean perhaps the most promising of them at this point, so it will be no shock should one of the newcomers have the answer. The betting will surely be informative but FRED is respected starting out despite the trip looking shorter that may eventually prove his optimum. Lord Of The Lodge, Mellad and Streaker also make plenty appeal on paper in what could turn out a nice little race for future reference.
  1. Fred
  2. Mellad
  3. Streaker
